A Staggered Team

As much as this could also describe our state after the long journey to Chiang Mai, by calling this particular Hot Springs Team "staggered" I am referring to our comings and goings.

Today, December 27, 2017 Sam and I leave from Toronto, arriving around noon Thursday, December 28 (Toronto time).  On January 5, 2018 Bill (pictured centre) will join us.
Sam will return for January 13, and Bill will return for January 18, and I will straggle (stagger?) home by January 27.  See what I mean?

It's an unusual traveling configuration, but it was what worked for schedules this time around.
And naturally, while we're there, we have varying plans to serve and encourage and (we know from experience) to be served and encouraged as well.  That's just the way it goes in the reciprocity of love and compassion that happens when we're about relationships and not projects.

This will be Sam's fourth time to Hot Springs, Bill's first and my.....I actually think I've lost count.  There's always new experiences though, no matter how many times we've been.  Sam and I will spend New Years in the mountain with Suradet's village and family.  We are still hoping to be able to have some ESL fun with kindergarteners in nearby (to Hot Springs) schools.  And naturally there's just the "be with" factor of daily life with our Thai family, and the chance to spoil them up a little bit while we're there.

So here we go, staggering our way into another adventure.
We will keep you posted.
